Anti Age Care
In Ayurveda anti aging means maintaining a healthy body into old age and slowing down the processes of aging, wear and tear, and degeneration.

The foundation of anti aging treatment is to liven up the body's inner intelligence and regenerate balance to the principal forms  of psychological and physiological operation. In Ayurveda these forms are called Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.. Health and longevity can be increased by aiding Kapha, thereby enhancing stability and lubrication and reducing Vata, thereby lessening dryness and unsettled state of mind and body. The secret to anti aging is to maintain Vata, Pitta, and Kapha in perfect harmony

Ayurveda classifies the human body into seven constituents, or Sapthadhathus:

  1. Rasa [related to lymph].
  2. Raktha [blood].
  3. Mamsa [flesh].
  4. Medas [fat].
  5. Asthi [bone].
  6. Majja [marrow].
  7. Sukla [sperm, or fertility].
As we age, these seven constituents (dhathus) get weakened due to our body's prolonged structural changes. Although it is not possible to enhance the dhathus, but Ayurveda believes that it can be cared for and revitalized.

As a person gets older, the cells in his body degenerate more rapidly, resulting in numerous disorders and ageing difficulties. Ayurveda has an effective remedy for this in the form of Rasayana Chikitsa.

Rasayana is the key ayurvedic anti ageing treatment. The "rasayanas" are rejuvenative tonics that keep cells young and help reverse age related damage with an objective that all functions of the body are kept toned and working at optimum effectiveness. Rasayana involves two modules-- kutipravesika and vatatapika. In Kutipravesika a person is confined in a tiny shelter with just one small door and small perforations instead of windows. The duration of stay depends on the nature of the illness and its severity. While being treated, the patient is observed and given suitable rasayana, based on which there is total renewal of health and fortification from illness. In vatatapika, the person can have the suitable rasayana without firm restrictions. In either case the objective is to cure the person of the disease and promote youthful permanence

There are a number of elements that are used for rasayana therapy. The most eminent is the rasayana prepared from bhallathaka [Semi-carpusanacardium]. It is renowned to slow down the process of aging. In addition, rasayana preparations such as sankupushpi [Clitoria ternatea], brahmi [Gratiola monnieria] and mandukaparni [Hydrocotyle asiatica], are equally effective.. When mixed with honey, the rasayanas also promote sleep naturally and improve memory. Gotu Kola is a well known ayurvedic anti aging herb which raises collagen synthesis

Chyavanaprasha, Gooseberry (amla) is also a useful medicine for old age diseases, thanks to its memory-boosting properties. It can also protect the eyes and improve vision. When taken with honey, it makes a refreshing combination, and improves energy levels in all age groups.

All the above help to slow the aging process, decreases the degeneration of cells and tissue and increases body immunity

In addition, the application of abhayangam (massage), by way of warm medicated oils all over the body, is said to protect the eye and stop graying of hair, fatigue, muscle spasm and joint pains. Also other forms of rasayana substances such as nasyam, vasti, and sirovasti, have curative benefits for a host of ailments Visit the center for consultation and expert advice
