| Rasayan MeditationŽ (RMŽ) (simplified yet effective version of transcendental meditation introduced by Swami Shailendra Saraswati, disciple of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi) is an effective meditation technique to gain deep relaxation, eliminate stress, promote good health, increase creativity and intelligence, and attain inner happiness and fulfillment. It is a technique which focuses on inner calm and peacefulness, profound experiences of self-realization and transcendental awareness.
RM allows the mind in a natural way to spontaneously experience subtler levels of the activity of the mind and ultimately to go beyond the mental activity altogether and experience a state of bliss in complete tranquility of the mind. This gradual spontaneous setting of the activity of the mind produces a deep state of mental rest and in the state of complete mental rest; the mind identifies itself with its essential nature, which is pure bliss.
"In the ancient Vedic literature, this bliss is called Rasa, the Nectar or the Juice of Life and the process which allow us to experience this Rasa is called Rasayan"
The Rasayan Meditation technique does not involve concentration or control of the mind. It is not a religion, philosophy, or lifestyle, nor does it involve a code of conduct or moral training, a value system, belief or worship
The goal of Rasayan Meditation is to allow the individual's awareness to settle down and permit him to experience a unique state of restful alertness. As the body becomes deeply relaxed, the mind transcends all other activity and experiences the simplest form of awareness and Consciousness.
The RM program course consists of four steps:
Experience the power: introduce all possible benefits of the RM program for the individual and society, the procedures to be followed for instruction and asserting willingness of participant to learn
Realize the potential: Personal instruction about how to learn the Rasayan Meditation technique and the origin of the same,. Information is given about how the participant should practice the technique on their own , how to clarify doubts if any , or give feed back about their experience in future , and how to find out about future a advance courses of RM .
Enjoy the bliss: The key to enjoying swift and smooth personal growth is to practice the Rasayan Meditation technique regularly, twice a day. It is a preparation for greater success and happiness day by day. The inward direction of meditation prepares us for more success in our outer activity
